Hurricane Alex

This is what the Corpus Christi Bay looked like today it was up about 1 1/2 foot higher than normal.

We are only getting high water, quite a bit of rain and wind up to about 45 mph (gust).

From noon on 6-29-2010 to 5:30 pm on 6-30-2010 we had 5 inches of rain at our house.

This is the barge dock on north Shoreline Drive it is covered with water about 10 inches deep 6-30-2010 4:30pm.

Notice the stupid people driving down the ramp onto the dock with it covered with water.

Sorry for so many of the same shots, but I just couldn't believe the people driving onto the dock.

If you look at my other pages you can see this spot with lower water.  One step and the lower landing is covered with water.

The rock jetty next to the Lexington is about 1/2 covered and waves crashing over it.

If you look at other pages you will see these rock jetty areas are almost covered with water.

This is about an hour before low tide.
